Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Animar. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

The Service

Animar provides interactive fiction tools, including AI-assisted stories and character chat. Features, limits, and plans may change. Free and paid tiers may have different quotas and capabilities as described on the pricing page.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in details secure and notify us promptly of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Content Policy.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create (stories, characters, prompts, uploads, and similar materials). You grant Animar a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to AI providers you invoke through the product.

You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to use it. Do not upload material that infringes others’ rights or violates our Content Policy.

We may review content you create on the Service — including private stories and chats — to enforce our Content Policy, investigate reports, and comply with legal obligations.

AI output

AI-generated text and images can be inaccurate, offensive, or unexpected. Outputs are provided “as is.” You are responsible for how you use them. Animar does not guarantee that any generation will meet your expectations or be suitable for a particular purpose.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider. Fees, renewal, and cancellation terms are shown at checkout and may also appear in your account settings. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it beyond normal use, reverse engineer it improperly, circumvent plan limits, or use it for unlawful purposes. You must follow our Content Policy.

Intellectual property

Animar, its branding, software, and design are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or source code beyond the limited right to use the Service as provided.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANIMAR AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Termination

You may stop using Animar at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
